Alitalia Maintenance Systems (AMS) is a leader in maintenance, repair and overhaul services for engine, Auxiliary Power Units (A.P.U.) and aeronautical components. Following the privatization of Alitalia, AMS saw a significant shift in its shareholder structure and began expanding worldwide. The main facility, located at Rome’s Fiumicino airport, was completely renovated in 2006-2007. AMS’ current facility is a 17,000 square meter warehouse with the capacity to service 100 engines and 200 A.P.Us, and to perform regular aircraft maintenance.
